The Kenyan Government, along with international aid agencies, is starting a campaign to vaccinate 15 million children against measles - that is almost half the population of the country.

In what they are calling Africa's biggest-ever anti-measles campaign, volunteers will go from door-to-door handing out leaflets, putting up posters and explaining people about the vaccination.

A BBC correspondent in Nairobi says outbreaks of measles are increasing in Kenya, where many people cannot afford to vaccinate their children.

Thousands of Kenyans die each year from of the disease.
