| Tuesday, 20 February, 2001, 10:55 GMT SA commuters burn station The fire burned throughout the night Angry commuters set fire to the main railway station in Pretoria, South Africa's capital, on Monday night after their train was delayed.
About 80 firefighters worked through the night to contain the blaze. Station managers say the roof and third floor of the historic building were destroyed. Damage to the station is being estimated at about $7m.
