The Big Dawg has had enough of his team's slackness in the studio and needed someone to sign up and sort things in the studio out. He needed an intern and after an epic search, he found one!

After sifting through bag after bag full of prospective candidates, Westwood whittled it down to 3 potential candidates - Clare, Ashiseta and Sarah. These finalists went head to head in a battle for the title of Big Dawg's Little Dawg - after 5 gruelling tasks, Ashiseta got the job and is now Westwood's Intern!

Task 1 - The Phone Interview: Westwood interviewed the three finalists on-air. The questions to each finalist will demonstrate how they think on their feet.

Task 2 - The Personality Video: The finalists prepared a video of no longer than 2 minutes demonstrating their swagger.

Task 3 - The Follow-up Video: The finalists prepared a video of no more than 2 minutes, in answer to the feedback and following up on the first video.

Task 4 - The New Listener: This took place in 1Xtra's studios, in Yalding House. The finalists will be asked to find a new friend of BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Task 5 - Talent Handling: This took place in 1Xtra's studios, in Yalding House. The finalists will be tasked with looking after Lloyd Banks. Each finalist was set an individual task in order to impress Lloyd Banks.
