Slave in shackles
So what if it's 200 years since the abolition of the slave trade...does it make a difference to your life?
The transatlantic slave trade forced changes across West Africa, Britain and the Caribbean that affects people's lives today.

Slavery lasted 300 years and reduced Africa's population by nearly half.

Akon say it's history: "We're at the point now where we're beyond that...I'm numb to it, it don't mean nothing to me." Do you agree with Akon?
Should we bury slavery in the past and just work on the future? Is slavery still holding black people back? Do you see any aspects of slavery around today?
