Interviewing Ja Rule
Ja Rule has been through a lot. He's had his ups and downs.
Like most artists he was at the top of the game at one point.
Legal troubles, Hip Hop beef, and fickle Hip Hop fans can end a career.
Some people doubt that Ja can make it back to the top...
At the peak of his career, I worked closely with Ja on the Pain is
Love album.
I've seen his mood swings, the arguments, and the tantrums.
I've also seen him in 'professional artist mode' at his best. Visiting
Pirate stations in the hood, rocking Hyde Park in front of 100,000
people, and performing at Wembley Stadium 2 nights on the run.
Let’s not forget, he's birthed some of the biggest global club
bangers and radio records.
Despite what he's been through, Ja Rule is a super star!
Like artists that have been in the same situation before him, he's
only one hit away from getting back to the top.
Make sure you catch the interview to find out what’s so funny!
This was one of my favourite interviews of 2007.
We talked about everything.....Everything!
It was honest and it was a lot of fun.
I sincerely hope Ja gets his place back in the game.
I’m glad he didn’t retire or fold under the pressure of the last few
years.
Time for the serious Hip Hop shot!
Thursday 18 October
Semtex parties with rockstars!!
Forget Lil' Wayne, Chamillionaire or anyone else rapping about partying like a rockstar. Im partying with Rock stars! I hooked up with Dave Grohl at the V festival, Im about to go on tour with the Babyshambles, and I linked with the Arctic Monkeys last night. Don't worry though, i'm not about to grow a mullet and start playing the drums, find out what went down last night here.
