Where were you born?
I was born and raised in Manchester, North Wheezy.

What was your favourite hobby / present as a kid?
When I was a kid I used to collect rubbers, I was obsessed by them I had so many different shaped ones. My favourite was a crate of milk bottles. The crate was plastic but all the bottles were mini erasers. Oh they were so cool! Oh and pencils from museums/attractions etc. I was a geek child! My favourite present has to be my Spiderman outfit I got when I was four, I wish it still fit cause I looked sharp in that get up there!

How did you get into DJing / presenting?
I used to talk a lot about music so a friend suggested I should try out for the Xtra Talent slot. In May 2004 I presented Xtra Talent for the month. Two months later I had a double-headed show with Twin B. It all happened so fast, I can't believe I've been here two years this summer!

What / who are your biggest influence(s)?
My Mum, Dad, sister, Madonna and Prince. All these people have contributed to my love and appreciation of music, the depth of my character, my extrovert tendencies, my determination and creativity and I thank them for it!

What have been your biggest achievements?
I've played the Royal Albert Hall, amazing! I used to be in a group called Un-cut and back in 2003 we supported Craig David on his European tour. As well as playing in this amazing venue, we all got to meet Bo Selecta's Avid Merion and the fake Craig David and we're on the DVD ha ha, now that's an achievement!

Written two top tens, one top 20 song and there's more to come! I've ridden Arnold Schwarzenegger's horse, the Terminator's steed, go on my son!

Name a key tune that you love or inspired you.
Purple Rain - Prince
First song to make me cry, I'd never been made to feel so much through a song before and it was the first time I became aware of how life creates art.

What is your favourite lyric?
"Even though I take your picture everywhere I go

It's a 40-sec song and one of my favourites. Within this short time you completely get what he's on about and even more you relate and feel it from the opening lines. This is just so gorgeously sad, I wanna give him a cuddle when I hear this lyric, I want a cuddle when I hear this lyric!

What is your dream gig or collaboration?
Collabos? Prince all day long. Ah I think I'm gonna scream! I would also love to play Madison Square Gardens , that would be a trip. Looking up to the tiers of that place is epic!

What interests or hobbies do you have outside music? 
I love foreign films they seem to tell more intricate stories and I like the sound of whatever language the film is in.

I like the quiet and stillness of the countryside, walking through woods and climbing rocks etc. It's a nice change from the city. Finally I'm mad for shopping, I love a bargain and I love buying clothes in other countries so that when people ask you where you got it, you can be all like "Oh Singapore darling!!".

Don't mix your denim

Never hate, it's such an awful word... instead you can despise immensely!

Britney Spears, do I really have to explain?

Too many things... 

What's your weakness?
Handsome men and expensive accessories.

Bagel, salt beef please MMmmmm 

If God was a DJ, who'd it be?
Stevie Wonder, wait am I suppose to choose an actual DJ? 

When did you last flop as a DJ?
Last Sunday in the mix in my room I clanged like a bumper car!! 

Favourite piece of clothing and why?
My red boots, they're so comfy and make me look like I am a super hero, which is exactly the look I'm going for! I went to buy another pair yesterday as mine are so battered but they have stopped selling them!! HELP ME!

You see your friend's boyfriend/girlfriend kissing someone else. What do you do?
Cry, smudge my mascara and then go kick some heads in.
