Ho Ho Ho was so much fun doing the show on christmas day, i left my fam asleep at home, but they will have been hard at work getting dinner ready and well awake by now. Well everyone cept my Dad who will be in his usual place, on the bean bag watchin TV lmao!!

Was my niece's 10 birthday, wow double figures makes me feel old!
My Mum, Dad and ex boyfriend also had their birthday's this month...so needless to say im very broke as i can't help but spoil peeps on their special day's....ill take comfort in the fact that my Karma points are going through the roof for spending so much on my ex!

Off yesterday, was in lovely Leipzig in Germany for a gig longside DJ Kabuki.
Am knackered but had much fun, off home to sleep and watch rainy day movies, i feel Footloose coming on.

Ill organisation and needless bad mindness are the things. I can't bloody stand especially when its raining simple tings really so fix up people before KARMA comes takes its revenge.
On a lighter note in playlist today i heard some heavy new tracks that are gonna be hitting 1Xtra airwaves v soon, in particular the new Omarion single for the states 'Ice Box'. Timberland is on fire right now i swear this track is like My Love part 2!

After listening to Devs show yesterday about things you've bought purely for fashion...i was thrown deeper into the well of indecisiveness on the whole leggings issue. Ok they are a throw back, i wore them in primary school, when i really shouldnt have been wearing anything tight...Now their all over the place. Sienna and Moss wannabes are flouncing all over the place with their cute little summer dresses, their cigarette legs insulated by leggings and a neck scarve...how boho, how vintage, how fashionable of them all....or is it? i know i wont suit a pair of anything made made out of lycra that i cant wear trousers or a smock over.
But then i see another chick looking fly in some leopard print leggings and i think, i wanna look that cool, yeah man i could rock it, what the hell im i thinkin!?! Dam this indecision....

Whats up with Scotland this morning?? They either dont get up before 12 noon, or are illergic to free stuff. Serious, had the biggest giveway for a long time on Lights Camera Action premiere tickets to James Bond Film, the new Bond film, the biggest film of the year and do you know what....No one wanted them, not one person in the whole of scotland or even near to the border of the northern country texed in?!?
Im confused, does Scotland not like me, my show or is it so cold up there that to even reach for the mobi to make that tex will result in pneumonia?? I will ponder on this for hmmm 5secs then ill stop writing and go home.

So i finally seen the film V for Vendetta today, went down to Bugz in the Attic studio for the complete cinema experience!! Was a heavy film and i have to say my new fav, jam packed with enough fuel for my conspiracy theory obsession!
Loving the villian/hero V himself, scary at first but after the first 10mins i had the biggest crush on this wiley masked man, see for yourself...

I also cant believe i havent heard that much about this film its got the gorgeous Natalie Portman, with a shaved head, still stunning, it has a host a really great english actors and it was filmed and based in the UK. As Spike Lee would say, wake up people and watch this now!!

Been a heavy week so far, and thats heavy in a good way people.
Been in the studio with a couple different people , writing and singnig me little heart out.
In with Sweetie Irie on the Monday, the house-tastic Shapeshifters on Tues and Shy FX tuesday evening. All totally different production and writing styles but all equally enjoyable. I forgot how much i enjoy studio life, bring it on my creative juices are flowing!

So the smoke from last nights festivities still hangs in the air, or is that a new fire on the horizon?
They say no news is good news, so for some today's hot gossip isn't the best way to kick off a brand new week. Back from a luvly 2 days in Alicante. Got a little tan and relaxed to the point of hibernation, was a quite a dreamy state i was in! Shouts to my friend and his old skool camera, got some cool photos whilst walking around Alicante town.

Back to the UK and straight back to work, off to the Tenacious D premiere tonight, my first Red Carpet an all dat....OOO im so excited! Got my questions ready for the very funny Jack Black and im praticising my elbow digs for the media scrum that is the press pit...cue Rocky music.

Wide awake and loving it. Listened to the Amy Winehouse Album on way to work this morning...GOD DAMM this album is amazing. Had me nearly in tears on the tube listening to the accoustic version of 'Love is loosing game', this is how music should be. Real and emotive, gut wrenching heartbreaking and funky as hell!
Its so mad the effect her words have had on me this morning, just goes to show how music effects our minds and our lives. Im so excited about speaking now at a BHM in Barking later on, it part of a workshop lookign at how black music has effected our culture and how it can help in the fight against racism. I went to the Myspace UK Party last night. It wasnt common knowledge in fact those in the know didnt even know, how exclusive is that!? I never get invited to any of those schmooze fests and there i was front and centre with my name on the list!!

I took full advantge of the freeness, by ordering 4 drinks (for my friends) on entry, then i carried my drinks to the free t-shirt stand where i took a fair few samples and a pair of knickers!! What they were free and a cool make, did i mention they were clean and free?
I then retreated to a comfortable corner to people watch or should i say star spot.

The funniest thing about the whole night though was the amount of models in there looking effortlessly fabulous and vacant. In the toilets women would be scraping their sweaty hair off their faces and attempting to salvage there appearance with powders and sprays and whatever, whilst stood next to them was a model holding a nothing but a lip balm and looking amazing. What a fun weekend, we had our first listener film review on Lights Camera Action from comp winner Marley and gave away a personal DAB this morning to Kayleigh as part of I Got To Have It!!
