We started Monday Mic Live back in November 2006. It’s been a long road…!

The idea was to give unsigned MCs the opportunity to showcase their talents live on Original Fever with Rodney P & Skitz.

Every show, four lyricists battled each other verbally, while Rodney & Skitz judged the winners. After 9 weeks of heats, the finalists were:
Envy / Grimm / Vader / Andy Two Tokes / Doctor Freud / Franco Fraize / Scudsy / Stealth / Instinct

As you can hear, the winner was Birmingham's Vader. His prize was to record a track with Firstman Productions - a two man UK production outfit well on their way to establishing themselves amongst the UK's best producers. The track they came up with was 'Recognise My Status'.

Vader is currently working with Sidewinder Entertainment Raw. He will be performing at the Bristol Academy on Saturday 19 May 2007 alongside Semtex, Cameo, Wiley, L.Man and more.
