Bryan Gee
Drum & Bass Legend

Without Bryan Gee, Drum & Bass as we know it today would not exist.

Listen:

:: Bryan started djing aged 13 and a pirate radio station called Passion with like-minded dj, Jumping Jack Frost.

:: The station quickly became respected in the music industry. Record labels and artists stopped and paid attention.

:: The superstar DJ worked as a promotions man in the day, with the likes of Warps LFO, Leftfield, Moby and Baby Ford on his books.

:: The first demo on V Recordings was the work of Roni Size and DJ Krust, it marked the birth of drum and bass.

:: He set up V Recordings with Jumping Jack Frost and today it's one of the the longest running drum and bass labels with a catalogue stretching back to 1993.

:: The label is still run by Bryan and it's supported by the weekly club night Movement in London.

:: Bryan helped to shape and establish dnb as a genre in its own right.
