This has unquestionably been Tinie Tempah’s year, with 2 top 5 singles, an appearance on Jonathan Ross and performances at major festivals including Glastonbury, Big Chill and Wireless. But he has been around on the Grime scene for some 5 years now, releasing tracks such as Wifey and Tears.
This year he got signed to a major label, and soon after, the South Londoner’s single Pass Out went straight in at the top of the charts, becoming one of the most recognisable hits of the year, and achieving over 11 million views on Youtube. Paris Hilton has booked him for a private party, Snoop Dogg has invited him on stage and Diddy is also a fan, enlisting his help for the UK remix of Hello Goodmorning. The 21 year old has also toured with Jay-Z, Rihanna, Chase & Status and Mr. Hudson, and is releasing his debut album very soon, as well as going on tour.
