Explore Afghanistan through the eyes of the Western photographers and artists who visited the country in the 19th and early 20th Centuries.
Dozens of rare images are on display at the Royal Geographical Society in central London - recording the panoramic views, striking architecture and distinctive ethnic groups living in the country at that time.
Here, tour the exhibition with the BBC's World Affairs correspondent, and Afghan expert, David Loyn.
