UN Gaza HQ hit by 'Israeli shelling'

Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has apologised to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for the shelling a UN compound in Gaza.

The UN said three staff were injured and vital humanitarian supplies were set on fire. Mr Olmert insisted that Israeli troops had come under fire from the compound.

Paul Wood reports.
