House-to-house inquiries were made in Rumney, Cardiff, by police |
A 26-year-old man has been charged with kidnap and four serious sexual offences by police investigating the alleged abduction of a three-year-old girl. He will appear before Cardiff magistrates on Friday morning.
South Wales Police said late on Thursday they had released two other men, aged 34 and 47, without charge.
Police had made arrests after a girl was allegedly taken from her home in Rumney, Cardiff, on Monday and a subsequent car crash in Wiltshire.
A car was pursued by police and crashed on the A4 between Hungerford and Marlborough.
The girl was airlifted to hospital after the collision. Police said she was not badly hurt in the collision but had sustained other significant injuries.
The child has since been released from hospital and is with her mother.
Police had earlier appealed for information on two men in a dark Ford Escort, which may have been in nearby Llanrumney between 0500 and 2300 GMT on Monday.
