European election candidates

Elections for the European parliament will be held on 4 June 2009. Voters in the UK will elect a total of 72 MEPs, a reduction from the current 78 due to the enlargement of the European Union.

The UK is divided into 12 electoral regions, each represented by a different number of MEPs. Click on the names below to find a complete list of candidates in your area.
