Allegations

Match-fixing on the 1993-4 tour to New Zealand, 1994-5 tour to Sri Lanka and 1994-5 Mandela Trophy in South Africa.

Attempted match-fixing in the 1994 series against Australia.

Findings

Insufficient evidence with regards to the 1994-5 NZ tour.

Allegation stands for the tour to Sri Lanka.

Found guilty of match-fixing against Australia.

In the absence of stronger evidence, "the commission cannot hold that the [Mandela] finals were fixed."

Ata-ur-Rehman

Allegation

General match-fixing.

Finding

Guilty.

Penalty
Life ban. Fined �1200.

Mushtaq Ahmed

Allegation

Received �66,500 jointly with Malik for match-fixing on the 1994-5 tour to Sri Lanka.

Finding

No specific evidence of match-fixing, but "sufficient grounds to cast doubt".

Penalty
Fined �3,700. Further investigation.

Wasim Akram

Allegations

Paid Ata-ur-Rehman �1200 to bowl badly on the 1993-4 tour to New Zealand.

Withdrawal from the 1996 World Cup quarter-final.

Tampered with batting order in 1997 Sharjah tournament.

General allegations of match-fixing.

Findings

Not guilty of paying Rehman.

"Wasim Akram cannot be said to have been feigning injury" at the World Cup.

Commission gave Wasim the "benefit of the doubt" with regards to the Sharjah tournament in 1997.

Described Wasim as "not above board".

Penalty
Player censured. Fined �3,700. Further probe into his assets.

Waqar Younis

Allegations

Receipt of a car in return for match-fixing.

Match-fixing on 1993-4 tour to New Zealand.

General allegation of match-fixing.

Findings

No evidence that Waqar received a car.

"Insufficient evidence to find him guilty" on the other charges.

Penalty
Player censured. Fined �1,200. Further investigation.

Saeed Anwar

Allegation

Match-fixing on tour to Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Finding

"Unable to find compelling evidence."

Penalty
Accused of witholding evidence. Fined �1,200.

Inzamam-ul-Haq

Allegation

Both Inzamam-ul-Haq and Akram Raza accused of match-fixing on the 1993-4 tour to New Zealand.

Finding

"Not possible to find them guilty."

Penalty
Both players warned. Fined �1,200. Finances probed.
