Lord Fraser will make his findings known in September |
Lord Fraser has sent his comments to those he has decided to criticise in the Holyrood Inquiry report. Those in the firing line have until 3 September to comment on the factual aspects of his remarks, but will not be able to question his interpretation.
The full report into the construction and cost of the 431m parliament building will not be published until the week beginning 13 September.
The parliament building will be opened by the Queen on 9 October.
The inquiry team would not reveal who was in line for criticism or how many people or organisations were involved.
Weeks of evidence
The Scottish Parliament and the Scottish Executive have not commented.
But speaking while on holiday, the late architect's wife, Benedetta Tagliabuie, said that she had not received anything yet.
The MSP in charge of the Holyrood progress group, John Home Robertson, said the same.
And a spokeswoman for Edinburgh architects RMJM said she was not aware of a letter arriving from the inquiry.
BBC Scotland, which refused to hand over taped interviews to Lord Fraser, also said it had not been contacted.
Lord Fraser has been considering his findings since he heard closing statements on the spiralling costs of the Holyrood site in May.
The inquiry heard 43 days of public evidence, two days of closing speeches and two days of evidence in private about security.
