The Wheel of Fortune has not yet turned for the eager entrepreneurs who're promising to transform Blackpool into Las Vegas, and Skegness into Monte Carlo.

They had hoped the Governent was about to relax the gambling laws and provide them and a few lucky winners with the big cash jackpot. But it's not turning out quite that way.

One of the Government's proposals in the draft gambling bill will strictly limit the casino companies money spinning opportunities.

The big foreign companies lined up to invest millions in the new gambling resorts are dismayed.

While the anti-gambling lobby still maintain the bill will increase gambling addiction.

The government it seems has pleased no one. Now the committee set up to scrutinise their proposals has been reconvened to take yet more evidence.
