If Bush wins on Tuesday, just what 'favours' will he owe his God-fearing, gun-toting supporters?

I am pretty sure that the majority of America wants Kerry (by a clear margin if you counted the popular vote). As for the rest of the world Kerry is the Holly grail of stability that Europe urges.

The mix of politics and religion particularly in the Republican party sends chills down my spine. State and religion should have no direct relationship otherwise you create regimes such as those Bush includes in his "Axis of Evil"

I am appalled to see that tonight's programme features the absurd Michael Moore. Nothing could illustrate better the retreat from factual reporting demonstrated by the BBC in recent years. Moore is a propagandist of the worst kind, praying on the gullible and semi-literate by means of half-truths and distortions. That's ok if you're a politician but reprehensible if you purport to be a maker of documentaries. Presenting fiction as fact is not the sort of thing Panorama should be doing and by giving people like Moore a platform you are providing him with credibility he does not deserve.
