| Get ready for BBC Africa Live! ![]() Ben Malor and Jenny Horrocks will present Africa Live! Africa Live! is about to get Africans buzzing this summer. The BBC's African Service is opening up its airwaves and the internet for five days in July, giving radio listeners across the continent and the world a unique chance to put their views. Africa Live! will be on air at 16.30 and 19.30 hours GMT Monday 1 July to Friday, 5 July - making sure everyone with an interest and view on African life has the opportunity to have their say.
But the Africa Live! team are also expecting to hear about some of the lighter side of life - especially the experiences of those who have settled in another country. Or what about your love life - are you obsessed with beauty, size or status? There will also be an opportunity to the follow the last stages of an African wedding, as the bride, groom and relatives gear up for the big day. Network Africa presenter Ben Malor and Fast Track presenter Jenny Horrocks will co-ordinate the debates from the BBC World Service studios in London. Solving problems And BBC reporters in Africa will abandon their usual bases to travel across the continent. Accra correspondent Kwaku Sakyi Addo will fly to Nigeria and report daily as he makes his way home to Ghana, and Kenyan based editor Joseph Warungu will be reporting between Nairobi and Kampala.
"We also want to help them exchange help and share problem solving ideas. "We know Africans by nature are imaginative and have lots to say - this week should help them get their point across. "We are also working closely with our FM re-broadcasting partners across Africa to ensure we are truly in touch with the issues that trigger our audience."
