Actors Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson have topped the US box office with their romantic adventure film Fool's Gold. The film, about a divorced couple on a treasure hunt, debuted at number one after making $22m (�11.3m).
Martin Lawrence's family reunion comedy Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins opened in second place with $17.1m (�8.8m).
Pop star Hannah Montana's 3D film of her tour fell to third place with The Eye and Juno rounding off the top five.

The Eye, starring Jessica Alba is a remake of the Pang brothers' Hong Kong thriller and raked in an estimated $6.6m (�3.3m) and Oscar-nominated film Juno made $5.73m (�2.9m).

In 2003 their hit romance How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days debuted over the same pre-Valentine's Day weekend.
At number six was another romantic comedy, 27 Dresses and in seventh place was The Bucket List, which is about two cancer patients who travel the world before they die.
Sylvester Stallone's fourth Rambo film was at number eight, closely followed by Meet the Spartans, a spoof film parodying Greek warrior epic 300.
Oil drama There Will Be Blood, which is up for eight Academy Award nominations later this month, was at number 10.
