TV and radio presenter Toby Anstis has become the first contestant to be voted off ITV1's jungle reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

The 35-year-old lost in a public vote against EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney.

After his eviction the Heart 106.2 DJ said he was relieved to be out, but would miss everyone he left behind.

"It has been such an adventure," he told presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. "They are such a lovely bunch of people."

He backed former soap star Jason Donovan to be crowned this year's winner.

'Bored and hungry'

Anstis said the most difficult aspect of his time on the show was the lack of food and entertainment.

"When you are watching it at home you see all the fun," he said.

"But there are hours where you are sitting around bored and hungry."

Eleven contestants remain on the ITV1 show, scheduled to finish next week.
