More than 5,000 children worked on the exhibition
More than 60% of children in London feel that bullying is a problem in their schools, a survey shows.

The poll, carried out for the Mayor of London, also discovered 54% of youngsters thought there was bullying in their neighbourhood.

To mark the start of anti-bullying week, an exhibition showing how young people have tackled the issue goes on display at City Hall from Monday.

It features campaign posters designed by more than 5,000 children in London.

They have been working with the charity Beatbullying.

London mayor Ken Livingstone said: "This exhibition highlights the work that young Londoners are doing to tackle bullying in their schools and communities.

"Bullying makes life hell for thousands of children. It is totally unacceptable and we need to put a stop to it.

"These imaginative campaigns are a call to teachers, bus drivers, parents, politicians and dinner ladies to stop young people being bullied."
