Two tonnes of paper snow were sent to Lapland |
A Gloucestershire company has come to the aid of desperate film-makers in Lapland by shipping out tonnes of artificial snow. Stroud-based Snow Business stepped in after an urgent call from the Swedish producers of a 14m movie called The Threat.
They were in the midst of filming in Lapland when unseasonally warm temparatures melted the natural winter scenery.
The company, which specialises in fake snow and ice effects, sent two tonnes of paper snow to Scandanavia to allow the producers to finish filming.
Snow Business has provided snow for a number of hit films, including Bridget Jones's Diary and the latest James Bond movie, Die Another Day.
