Mother in photo plea to burglars
Lynn Bull and son Craig Mawby
The family said the items contained irreplaceable memories
The mother of a teenage boy with severe disabilities has appealed to burglars to return photographs taken from their home in Leicester.

Lynn Bull's 17-year-old son Craig Mawby suffered a brain tumour which has left him with speech and mobility problems.

Among items taken by the burglars was a digital photo frame with images of Craig before the tumour was found.

Ms Bull said the memory card means nothing to anyone else and everything to her and Craig.

'Memories back'

She added: "They are important to me because Craig has been ill and there are pictures on there of him when he was able-bodied, many at a wedding.

"I can't replace those, Craig is never going to be the same person he was before and I'd like those memories back please."

Another item the family particularly want to see returned is a Motorola phone which contains pictures of Craig and messages from him.

Police believe the burglary took place sometime between late 22 June and 24 June and have asked for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Colby Drive area to come forward.
