Charges over postman dogs attack

A father and daughter have appeared in court after a postman was attacked by two Rottweiler dogs while delivering Christmas mail.

Robert Stewart, 44, and Emma Stewart, 22, both from Cambridge, are accused of being responsible for a dog which "caused injury in a private place".

No pleas were entered and Cambridge magistrates adjourned the case.

Postman Keith Davies needed surgery after the attack, in the week before Christmas 2008.
