Detectives investigating the murder of a Bradford man have appealed to residents in his former home town of Oldham to help find his killer. Zafar Iqbal, 22, was found dead in a car park on Raymond Street in the West Bowling area of Bradford in January.
Police believe he left his home in the Great Horton area of the city to go to an all-night garage to buy cigarettes.
Six men and a woman from the Oldham area, aged between 21 and 50, have been arrested and bailed in the inquiry.
Police officers have been distributing posters in both English and Urdu throughout Oldham, where Mr Iqbal previously lived, appealing for information about the killing.
'Loving family'
Police particularly want to trace a number of items Mr Iqbal had with him when he went to the garage which are still missing.
These include his phone, a blue baseball cap and one black open-toed shoe which had a gold stud on it.
Det Insp Simon Bottomley said: "I believe someone in Oldham may know what happened to Zafar and why. We need to hear from you as a matter of urgency.
"Zafar had a loving family who deserve to know what happened to him."
Mr Iqbal had only lived in Bradford since November 2003, after moving to the area from the Glodwick area of Oldham.
