One killed and five hurt in crash
One person was killed and five others injured in a road crash on the border of Kent and East Sussex on Monday.

Fire teams from both counties attended the scene of the collision on the A21 at Flimwell, East Sussex.

Emergency teams said a woman suffered serious injuries in the collision - four others had minor injuries.

Kent Police said that three cars were involved in the crash at about 1815 GMT. The A21 was closed at the junction with Lady Oak Lane.

A Kent Police spokesman said that diversions were in place and added that the crash was now being investigated.

The person who died in the accident has not yet been identified.
