Mum and daughter to row Atlantic
A mother and daughter team from Northampton are due to set off on an attempt to row across the Atlantic on Tuesday.

Sally Kettle, 26, and her mum Sarah, 45, are due to leave the Canary Islands at about 1030 GMT - to raise money for an epilepsy charity.

Back in October, Sally and her partner Marcus Thompson attempted the challenge, but they had to turn back when Marcus was sea sick which triggered an epileptic seizure.

If Sally and her mum are successful they will be the first mother and daughter team to row the Atlantic.

Cambridge rowers Justin Coleman and Henry Dale are also competing in the Ocean Rowing Society's Atlantic Regatta.

The race is one of the world's toughest rowing races and covers 3,000 miles to the West Indies.

The journey could take more than 70 days to complete.
