Test practice at one of the most-improved schools, Stockwell Primary

Each year the Department for Education and Skills produced a list of about 100 schools which have improved their results the most, year-on-year, four years in a row.

It is topped in 2004 by Sherington Primary School in Greenwich, south-east London - up from a score of 103 to 254.
