P&A said Palace players were worried about being paid |
Insolvency firm P&A Partnership says it has been appointed administrators to Crystal Palace Football Club. "This club has been in the spotlight for some months with creditors pressing for payments and players anxious about their wages," P&A said. Championship side Crystal Palace said there would be a statement on their website shortly. Football clubs outside of the Premier League automatically lose 10 points if they go into administration. "Our role now is to find a buyer quickly to provide certainty for the employees, players and fans for the future," said Brendon Guilfoyle of P&A. "We are hoping our appointment will be short-lived as we understand there are many interested buyers." For more on this story, go to BBC Sport.
